Your background

It is worth emphasising that previous recruitment experience is not essential. Indeed many of our most successful consultants joined us directly from the industries into which they now recruit and their inside understanding of the industry in question is an important part of their ability to provide really excellent service to our clients.

Other successful consultants have joined us from a recruitment background. Ideally you would have previous experience of our business areas, but we strongly believe that it is the person not the background that is most important. For example, we warm to individuals with passion, initiative and energy, because, as a consultant, there is a direct correlation between the effort you put in and the rewards you reap. We are looking for people who are keen to develop their careers with us and become a part of our continued success.

We are actively recruiting for the following specific roles:

Recruitment consultants

We currently have opportunities for recruitment consultants in both our banking and our finance teams. The opportunity in finance includes covering the accountancy area of the finance market. Previous experience, either in recruitment or in banking / finance, would be an advantage.

Both consultants will be responsible for building and developing their own business area across Singapore and South East Asia. Although you will be working closely with other team members, particularly during a highly focused induction / training stage, you will generally be working autonomously and we expect our consultants to treat their personal business area like their own business, with its own profitable balance sheet.

You will start with a well- established client list, extensive market and candidate data and will have the benefit of our research department to help you build up your own database of candidates and gather market information. In addition to servicing existing business you will need to expand business in your core areas. This will involve making marketing calls and sales visits.

Researcher

Accurate and up to date market research is crucial to our ability to rapidly source specific individuals with highly specific skills sets for our clients. Consequently, in addition to recruitment consultants, we have a full team of researchers. Researchers work proactively with search consultants in tracking latest industry movements and identifying suitable candidates for specific assignments. They are also involved in passive business development and account management.

Good researchers are excellent communicators and listeners who enjoy phone work. They are persistent and creative, with a good memory and an ability to gather and analyse information. They are also well organized with an eye for detail.

We are currently looking for another researcher to join our vibrant and energetic research team. For the successful candidate, there is limitless opportunity to learn about various industries, to build a strong network of contacts and to benefit from an excellent rewards system.
